A Greenhouse with Form and Function
posted in Home Decor |When I bought my Black Line greenhouse, I must admit, I picked based on how it looked. I live in an older part of Mobile Al. My house has black wrought iron accents. The Black Line greenhouse looks really great in my backyard because it matches my furniture great.
It was only after I had used my Black Line greenhouse for about six months did I appreciate what a great greenhouse it was. The 6×8 size is perfect for my needs. I love to keep orchids blooming in my house and on my patio and the greenhouse is great for that. Some of my friends use their greenhouses to get a jump on their vegetable gardens. I use mine mostly to keep my tropical plants warm in the winter so that I have a lush resort feel on my patio during the summer.
There are so many greenhouses on the market, I am sure there is one to suit any person’s needs. My favorite feature of my Black Line, besides the black aluminum frame, is the sliding door. The tropical plants I have are in showy clay pots and they are heavy. The sliding door slides open and stays open so that I can move plants in and out at the right time of year. It really makes my greenhouse gardening hobby easy.
