Many times the cookies will be in the shapes of flowers, but of course are edible. Cookies are underestimated in their gift appeal. One does not normally receive cookie baskets as gifts, but usually other sweet treats such as chocolates and other candies. Cookie bouquets can be very affordable, and usually one could purchase them for under forty or fifty dollars.
Cookies can be customized at your local bakery. On these personalized cookies, it is a good idea to write little messages such as “get well soon” or “back on your feet” or many other phrases. Little words could have big meanings. These baskets are great morale boosters. Seeing a cookie basket being given to you from your son/daughter/grandson/granddaughter can only put a smile on your face on your road to recovery. Cookies can also be mixed with other sugary treats such as chocolates to really spice up the gift basket. Hopefully cookie bouquets will take off since they are not normally thought of as typical gift basket gifts or even as a thank you gift, but they sure do help lessen the burden on you.
